Siena College Office Coordinator for the School of Business in Loudonville, New York

The School of Business is looking for a skilled Office Coordinator. This position serves as the first point of contact in the School of Business, and is an integral part in ensuring that the office operations run smoothly. The office coordinator manages office administrative functions, supports office administrators including Dean, helps execute meetings and events; manages student employees for School of Business (SoB), attends academics-related tasks (including assisting faculty, assigning advisors, reviewing Academic Record Change form), facilitates internal and external communication (social media, print materials, email), and acts as a support person for SoB budget matters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including purchasing, reimbursements, communications

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments for the Dean. Assist other staff as requested.

  • Plan meetings and events, such as faculty meetings and Golub Lecture.

  • Recruit, hire, schedule, and supervise student assistants and interns

  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing professional and courteous assistance

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, SoB printed materials and correspondence

  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for sensitive information.

Salary range: $21.41 - $22.48/hour

Job Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. This position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office, strong organizational and excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

A background screening will be required.
